Yanco Glen

Wolf acquired the rights to 100% of any tungsten or tin mineralisation at Yanco Glen (EL 6489) from Graynic metals when the company listed on the ASX.

The resource is located 35km North of Broken Hill in far west NSW within EL6489.

Yanco GlenTungsten was mined on a small scale in the 1930’s and 1970’s. There are workings along a 2km strike targeting tungsten (W).

Mineralisation has been outlined further north by rock chips and soil sampling completed by CRA Exploration Pty Ltd in the early 1980s.

Graynic Metals drilled 19 holes for 2100m in 2005 and identified an inferred tungsten resource of 0.83Mt @ 0.21% tungsten trioxide (W03) as calculated by independent geological consultants Ravensgate Pty Ltd in September 2006.

Drilling commenced at the Yanco Glen in April. A total of 19 holes for 1938 metres of reverse circulation (RC) holes were completed.

Ten from the 19 drillholes returned significant results, which was in line with expectations.

Mineralisation appears to be stratigraphically controlled within metasediments with lensoidal high-grade pods.

Assays were taken at 1m intervals and were analysed at ALS Chemex by pressed power XRF. Higher grade samples were re-analyzed by fusion XRF to ensure best practise procedure. The assays provided a tungsten concentration from which W03 content was calculated.
